Gwyneth Paltrow has recently released a cookbook titled My Father’s Daughter. Her diverse career seems to be going from strength to strength.

Speaking of dinner – we’re having homemade Hainanese Chicken Rice tonight. Possibly as good as Tak Chee in Northbridge, but it sure takes a lot of work to get the result. The Food Pornographer recently visited Tak Chee for the first time & loved it as well.
A cookbook called The Encyclopaedia of Sandwiches? Who would have thought? So simple, yet so tantalising. Classics such as the Chip Butty or Croque Monsieur. Some interesting creations that I’ve never heard of as well – Fluffernutter, Hoagie or Spamwich?

Called 2 Asian Kitchens, it explores the Old Kitchen of traditional family dishes & New Kitchen with his personal flavours & experiences. Speaking of Masterchef, I loved the show last year & am really looking forward to its season three premiere on Sunday May 1.
